Their website
This restaurant has a music motif with autographed guitars and and albums around the dining area. It is comfortable and inviting, but on the night we visited it was very cold inside the dining room. On a positive note, the food was excellent and the server provided everything we needed in a timely fashion, but seemed disengaged and a bit distant. Back to the food, mainly a sandwich shop Macado's knows what it does well and the sandwiches are proof of this. We ordered;
Titanic
roasted prime rib, /melted Swiss cheese on French bread with their French dip. While they were extra the lettuce tomato and portabello mushrooms were fresh and added to the sandwich. With a side of slaw it only cost $7.95 (extraordinary value)
The only issue was the slaw, it was a bit dry for my taste, but was fresh and crispy.
Packard
Roast beef, Melted Swiss, bacon, cole slaw and tomato on a croissant. With a side of potato salad, it cost $7.25 (another extraordinary value) The potato salad was delicious.
We added a basket of beer battered onion rings for $4.25 .
All together we had sandwiches that were made with fresh quality ingredients and put together well. The roast beef was seasoned well and tasted great. The onion rings were hot and delicious so all together it was an excellent value at under $20.00. We will definitely return to try another selection.
Excellent food and service at a value price!
